my JEE starting journey

 

Introduction

My name is Sanjith, and I have recently started Class 11. Like many students who dream of clearing JEE Main and JEE Advanced, I know that mathematics is one of the most important subjects in my preparation.

When I entered Class 11, I quickly realized that the level of mathematics was very different from Class 10. The chapters became longer, the concepts became deeper, and the questions required much more thinking. At first, this felt challenging, but I decided to approach it one step at a time.

My Current Goal

My goal is not just to pass school examinations. I want to build a strong foundation in mathematics that will help me in:

  • State Board examinations
  • NCERT mastery
  • JEE Main
  • JEE Advanced

A strong foundation is important because advanced problems become easier when the basics are clear.

My Study Plan

Every day, I try to focus on three things:

  1. Understanding concepts from NCERT.
  2. Solving textbook exercises.
  3. Practicing additional problems.

Instead of memorizing formulas blindly, I try to understand why a formula works. This helps me remember it for a longer time and apply it in different situations.

Challenges I Face

My school schedule is busy, and I also attend tuition classes. Because of this, time management is one of my biggest challenges.

Sometimes a chapter looks difficult at first. However, I have learned that difficult chapters become easier when I break them into smaller topics and practice regularly.

What I Have Learned So Far

One important lesson is that consistency matters more than motivation.

Studying for a few hours every day is much better than studying for an entire day once a week. Small daily progress creates big results over time.

My Future Target

In the coming months, I want to:

  • Complete all NCERT Class 11 Mathematics chapters.
  • Strengthen my problem-solving skills.
  • Build speed and accuracy.
  • Prepare seriously for JEE-level questions.

Conclusion

The journey to mastering mathematics is not easy, but it is possible with discipline, patience, and consistent practice. Every chapter completed and every problem solved is a step closer to success.

I am still at the beginning of my journey, but I am determined to keep learning, improving, and moving forward every day.
